Growing up, Dr. Dhadham was always very social and outgoing. When choosing a profession, she wanted a field where she could interact with and help people. She knew from a young age that the medical field was where she belonged.
As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Dhadham treats and diagnoses diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, pancreas, gallbladder, and liver. She is also trained in comprehensive cancer care diagnosing and staging of gastrointestinal cancers.
Dr. Dhadham is an expert in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatophraphy (ERCP). The EUS is a minimally invasive procedure used for diagnostic purposes to assess the digestive tract and other organs such as the pancreas. The ERCP procedure is used to diagnose and treat conditions related to biliary ductal system. Prior to her arrival, patients would have to travel out of town for these procedures.
Dr. Dhadham forms direct relationships with her patients to learn about their lifestyle and advise them of simple changes they can make to improve or eliminate uncomfortable gastrointestinal symptoms.
Dr. Dhadham values community involvement. She enjoys spending time with her family participating in activities at the YMCA and volunteering at her children’s school.
