Lauren Huff, NP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner with Bayhealth Neurology.
Having a grandmother who was a nurse and several other family members in healthcare inspired Lauren to pursue a helping profession. She’s always wanted to work with people and impact their lives. After first pursuing an undergraduate degree in clinical counseling psychology, she decided to go back to school to get a bachelor’s degree in nursing and master's degree at Drexel University to become a certified nurse practitioner.
Her experience includes working with critical care patients in the medical intensive care and neurosurgical intensive care units. Lauren enjoys caring for patients at the bedside and in office visits, carefully listening to them to truly understand their concerns, and incorporating their families in treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
Lauren was born and raised in southern Delaware. This makes her especially proud to deliver compassionate and thorough care to her community to help meet the neurological needs of local residents.
Outside of work, Lauren can usually be found spending time with her family, friends and her English Bulldog. She enjoys traveling, house renovations, good food and being outdoors.
