My Inspiration

I practiced primary care in Kentucky for nearly five years. During that time, my mom's dementia progressed and she ended up on home hospice. I was inspired by the care she received, in addition to other family members who had hospice care, and subsequently I chose to pursue a fellowship in hospice and palliative care to serve others in a similar position.

What I’m Passionate About

When it comes to advanced care planning, I believe that patients and families deserve to know the ramifications of potential options, as I recognize this is often a difficult situation.

Off the Clock

I am very grateful to have the support of my friends, family and mentors. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my fiancée and hanging out with my friends.

I am committed to providing patient-centered care that is thoughtful and thorough. I want every patient to feel respected and well-cared for, and I find it very rewarding when a patient or their family expresses gratification for the care they received.
