Our Special Care Nursery is designed for babies who need more care than a regular newborn nursery can provide. The 15-bed nursery is home to a care team who uses advanced technology to help babies grow stronger and healthier.

Bayhealth partners with Nemours Children's Health to bring expert newborn care to families in central and southern Delaware.
Nemours neonatologists (doctors who care for newborns) and advanced practice clinicians work alongside Bayhealth's care team in the Special Care Nursery. While some clinicians may wear Nemours badges, your care experience remains centered at Bayhealth.
Services provided by Nemours clinicians may be billed separately.
