Compassionate Liaison: Cassandra Humphrey-Jenkins

“I am driven by the fact that my family is part of this community—I want the very best for both my family and my community,” said Bayhealth Physician Liaison Cassandra Humphrey-Jenkins. Just like any great liaison, Cassandra is bridging the gaps, encouraging high levels of communication and participation among our organization.

The Bayhealth Foundation views Cassandra as a true asset. She has worked alongside the Foundation serving as a board member for several consecutive years. She has also selflessly volunteered her time outside of work hours to contribute toward fundraising events, like the annual golf tournament.

Encouraging others and raising awareness to support the Bayhealth Foundation has always been simple for Cassandra since she makes it a priority to give to the organization herself. She’s been with Bayhealth since 2007.

“The work doesn’t stop at the end of a fundraising event,” said Cassandra. “I know that my purpose goes far beyond simply donating once or volunteering my time at a single event.” Cassandra sees the value of contributing toward building up an even better community around her.

“Every donation given by our faithful donors, like Cassandra, helps Bayhealth continue its mission to improve the health of our local communities,” said Lindsay A. Rhodenbaugh, DMin, president of the Bayhealth Foundation. “Every dollar is used for a different purpose.”
