Bayhealth Raises over $60,000 in 18th GoPink! Campaign

Tuesday, April 2, 2024 | Bayhealth Foundation, Cancer Care
Bayhealth is proud to announce the success of its annual Go Pink! campaign, which raised $60,622 for breast cancer awareness and screenings. This marks the 18th year that Bayhealth has organized this campaign to support the local community and emphasize the importance of early detection.

The funds raised during the Go Pink! campaign are split between Bayhealth and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC). These contributions enable both organizations to provide crucial breast screenings and education programs to individuals throughout the region.

John Shevock, FACHE, FACMPE, the executive director of Bayhealth Cancer Institute and senior director of operations for the oncology service line, expressed his satisfaction in being able to give back to the community year after year. Shevock stated, "We are honored to support the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and contribute to their efforts in raising awareness and providing screenings. Early detection is key in the fight against breast cancer, and we are proud to play a role in ensuring access to these vital services."
