Bayhealth Announces “Hope Rises” for 21st Annual Go Pink! Campaign

Tuesday, August 25, 2026 | Cancer Care

The Bayhealth Cancer Institute is marking the 21st year of its Go Pink! breast cancer awareness and fundraising campaign, celebrating more than two decades of impact. With continued community support, thousands of individuals have received lifesaving screenings, education and treatment.

The 2026 theme, “Hope Rises” reflects a new era in breast cancer care — where earlier detection, improved outcomes and better access are changing lives. This year’s Go Pink! T-shirt features a sunrise design, symbolizing renewal and forward momentum, and serving as a reminder that each day brings new opportunities to detect breast cancer early.

Proceeds from each Go Pink! T-shirt sold support breast health services including screenings, education and treatment for uninsured and underinsured individuals. A portion of proceeds also benefits Go Pink! Premier Partner, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, expanding impact statewide.

“When you support Go Pink!, you are helping turn progress into action,” said John Shevock, FACHE, FACMPE, senior director, oncology division and executive director, Bayhealth Cancer Institute. “Every shirt sold raises awareness and helps more individuals access vital screenings and high-quality care.”

T-shirts are available for $20 at Bayhealth Community Pharmacies and online at Bayhealth.org/Go-Pink. Wear yours proudly this October and beyond.

The Bayhealth Cancer Institute encourages women 40 and older to stay up to date with regular mammograms. Talk to your clinician or schedule through MyChart with a referral. Those who are uninsured or underinsured can call 302-744-6512 to learn about low-cost options.
