Bayhealth Neurology, Blue Hen Welcomes Neurologist

Bayhealth is pleased to welcome Board-Certified Neurologist Adebola Awolesi, MD, to its growing team of neurological care providers. Dr. Awolesi is now seeing patients at Bayhealth Neurology, Blue Hen in Dover, where she joins Neurologist Rakesh Jaitly, MD, and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Megan Hoplock, NP-C. She is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Awolesi specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system, with a clinical interest in electrodiagnostic testing of nerves and muscles.

Dr. Awolesi began her neurology residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she served as chief resident and received the McClellan Humanitarian Award. She completed her residency at Temple University and went on to pursue fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. During her time at NIH, she was recognized with the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine Resident and Fellowship Member Award.
