Bayhealth Foundation Funds 15 Nurses to Attend NTI in May 2025
The Bayhealth Foundation funded 15 nurses to attend the National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition (NTI) in New Orleans in May 2025. This initiative highlights Bayhealth's commitment to nursing excellence and underscores the impact of philanthropic support in advancing the careers of Bayhealth team members.
The NTI conference is a key event for acute and critical care nurses, offering access to the latest research, workshops and best practices. With the Foundation's funding, these nurses will gain valuable knowledge to further improve patient care at Bayhealth.
Chief Nurse Executive Rosemary Wurster, DNP, RN, emphasized the importance of professional growth. "Supporting our nurses’ professional development is key to maintaining Bayhealth's high standards of care," she said.
The Bayhealth Foundation plays a critical role in supporting staff through donor-driven contributions. These funds enable Bayhealth nurses to attend transformative events like NTI, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance patient outcomes.
Clinical Nurse Specialist Ludmila Santiago Rotchford expressed the value of ongoing development, stating, "The opportunity to attend NTI deepens our expertise and empowers us to bring back new innovations that further improve patient care."
