Bayhealth Primary Care Adds Three Doctors to Enhance Local Access to Expert Care

Bayhealth Medical Group expands its team of skilled primary care clinicians with the addition of board-certified specialists: internal medicine physicians Dr. John Marlon B. Lintan and Dr. Michael G. Sweeney, and family medicine physician, Dr. Jennifer Tetzner. These new providers, who will see patients at Bayhealth Primary Care, Blue Hen in Dover, bring advanced training and a commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to the communities Bayhealth serves.

John Marlon B. Lintan, MD
John Marlon B. Lintan, MD, is an internal medicine physician. He is passionate about bringing compassion and a holistic approach to prevention, wellness and strengthening the health of community. Prior to medical school, Dr. Lintan practiced as a licensed physical therapist. Dr. Lintan completed his medical education at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine & Surgery in the Philippines and his residency in internal medicine at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Michael G. Sweeney, MD
Dr. Sweeney is well-known in the Dover area as he treated patients in a private practice for more than 30 years. The board-certified internist thrives on the personal connection of a face-to-face visit, genuinely listening to his patients to uncover the root of their ailments and find the best path to wellness. Dr. Sweeney began his medical education at Georgetown University and his residency at the US Air Force Medical Center at Keesler.

Dr. Jennifer Tetzner, DO
As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Tetzner is dedicated to treating the whole family and positively impacting her patients' lives. She emphasizes that listening and building strong relationships are essential part of helping patients feel better. Dr. Tetzner completed her internal medicine training and education Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also completed her residency in family medicine residency at Crozer Health Pennsylvania.
