As a regional healthcare leader, Bayhealth is committed to using the most advanced and safest treatments when caring for everyone in our community. At a recent event hosted by the Bayhealth Foundation, Medical Director of Neurosurgery Dawn Tartaglione, DO, FACOS, spoke to Dover Capital City Rotary Club members about how Bayhealth is delivering the latest in neurological health and neurosurgical options as a part of this mission.

More specifically, Dr. Tartaglione discussed the range of routine and complex neurosurgical procedures she and her colleagues perform. She emphasized how advanced technologies, such as the robotically guided ExcelsiusGPS® navigation platform for spine surgery, are making safer, more precise and minimally invasive neurosurgeries possible at Bayhealth. Dr. Tartaglione also shared how the expansion of Bayhealth’s neurosurgery practices in Dover and Lewes are increasing access to care.

As she closed her talk on Bayhealth’s exceptional neurosurgical care and its commitment to the community, Dr. Tartaglione fielded questions from the audience.
