Bayhealth’s Foundation and Internal Medicine Residency Program Hosts Event at Maple Dale Country Club

As a regional healthcare leader, Bayhealth is the first in the area to launch Graduate Medical Education (GME) residency programs. These robust GME programs, including the Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residencies that began this month, are improving access to care for everyone in our communities. In partnership with the GME residency program directors, the Bayhealth Foundation is hosting events for community members to learn more about the programs and their benefits.

Internal Medicine Program Director Joseph Deutsch, MD, recently spoke to the members of Maple Dale Country Club and their friends. Dr. Deutsch’s presentation, which was held at Maple Dale, highlighted the Internal Medicine Residency Program’s impact on our area, including how it will ultimately provide more than 20,000 patient care visits per year.
