You’re Invited to Bayhealth’s 2024 Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice Conference
Anyone interested in healthcare research is invited to register for Bayhealth’s 2024 Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice Conference hosted by the Research & Evidence Based Practice Council. It will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bayhealth’s Blue Hen Conference Center, 665 Bay Road, Unit A, Dover, and virtually through Webex.
The conference will feature various research findings presentations, a poster breakout session and a keynote speaker address. In addition to being a unique learning and networking opportunity for all, the conference counts for 3.75 nursing contact hours.
The keynote speaker is Children’s National Hospital Simulation Program Manager Heather Walsh, PhD, RN, PCNS-BC, CHSE-A, CPN. Her lecture is titled “The Experience of Racial Microaggressions of Registered Nurses” and is based on her PhD research and continued concentration on the topic.
The conference is free to all Bayhealth team members and nursing students. The fee for all other attendees is $40. The registration deadline is Nov. 19.
Anyone who has completed a research, evidence-based practice or quality improvement project in the last year is invited to submit a poster to be presented at the conference. The submission deadline is Nov. 1.
