New Facility to Usher in a New Chapter for Bayhealth Patients in Harrington and Beyond

Bayhealth’s new medical office building in Harrington is on schedule to open with expanded services in early 2023. The new, 10,000 square foot facility located at 16681 S. DuPont Highway is a short distance from the current space, which is the longtime home of Bayhealth Primary Care, Harrington and Bayhealth Outpatient Center, Harrington.

In the new space, patients will find additional exam rooms, a Coumadin Clinic, and outpatient testing services including lab and imaging. The new building was also strategically designed with extra space for future services to ensure that it can keep pace with the growth of Harrington and the surrounding communities.

“We are pleased to offer expanded healthcare options and convenience for our growing patient population in Harrington and beyond,” said Bayhealth President and CEO Terry Murphy, FACHE. “This new facility is another step in our commitment to providing local residents access to the quality healthcare they deserve.”

While Bayhealth Primary Care, Harrington is moving locations, the clinicians and office staff will carry on the legacy that Family Medicine Physician Vincent Lobo, DO, has built in his 50+ years as a beloved community physician.

“Dr. Lobo and the primary care staff have a history of serving the community and will continue at this new site,” added Murphy.

Bayhealth Primary Care, Harrington is also home to Internal Medicine Physician Andrew Nash, DO, and Family Nurse Practitioner Michelle Devern, NP-C, who are both accepting new patients. And recruitment is underway for additional primary care physicians.
