Dr. Bhavin Dave Joins Bayhealth Gastroenterology, Dover

Gastroenterologist Bhavin R. Dave, MD, has joined Bayhealth Gastroenterology, Dover as part of the Bayhealth Medical Group family of providers. The Bayhealth Gastroenterology, Dover practice is now open in a newly-renovated location at 793 S. Queen Street, Dover and is accepting new patients.
For more than twenty years, Dr. Dave has been on the Bayhealth Medical Staff and provided compassionate specialty care to our community. He previously had his own private medical practice, GI Consultants, in Dover. He helps patients suffering from conditions of the gastrointestinal tract such as irritable bowel syndrome, liver diseases including hepatitis C and GERD, pancreatic disorders, and he offers colorectal cancer screenings. Skilled in a range of advanced methods, Dr. Dave also performs double-look colonoscopy which enhances detection of certain kinds of polyps to identify colorectal cancer, enabling patients to get earlier treatment with better results.
Dr. Dave will be joined this summer by two new gastroenterologists— Muhammad Hanafi, MD, and Michael Bartel, MD. Stephanie Nguyen, PA-C, is the new physician assistant for the practice. Ms. Nguyen is a recent graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
