Bayhealth to Host 14th Annual Nursing Research Conference

Registration is now open for Bayhealth’s 14th Annual Nursing Research Conference. The theme of this year’s conference is “Moving Forward: Rooted in Research.” The conference will be held on Friday, Oct. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bayhealth Simulation Center Conference Room A2080 at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus; in the Community Room at Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus; and virtually via WebEx.

Anyone interested in research is encouraged to attend. Participants will be awarded 3.5 nursing contact hours. Registrants must attend the full conference to receive these nursing contact hours.

This year’s keynote speaker is Susan Conaty-Buck, DNP, FNP-C, FAANP. She is a family nurse practitioner, an assistant professor, and an informatics nurse researcher in the School of Nursing at the University of Delaware. The title of her presentation is “Helping Nurses Develop Their Innovation and Entrepreneurial ‘Superpowers’.”

The conference is free to all Bayhealth team members and nursing students. The fee for all other non-Bayhealth employees is $40. The registration deadline is Oct. 26.
