Join us for Bayhealth’s 15th Annual Nursing Research Conference

Registration is now open for Bayhealth’s 15th Annual Nursing Research Conference. The theme of this year’s conference is “Harvesting Knowledge Through Research & Evidence-Based Practice.” It will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus in the PCOM Simulation Center Conference Room and virtually through Webex.

Anyone interested in research is encouraged to attend. The conference will feature various research findings presentations, a poster breakout session and multiple keynote speaker addresses. In addition to being a unique learning and networking opportunity, nurses are eligible to receive 3.5 contact hours by attending the conference in full.

This year’s keynote speakers are Nursing Professional Development Specialists for Patient & Family Health Education at ChristianaCare Kristen Callaghan, MSN, RN, MedSurg-BC, NPD-BC, CUA, and Amanda Joie, MSN, RN, CV-BC, NPD-BC, and the Director of Patient & Family Health Education/Nursing Professional Development at ChristianaCare Greg O’Neill, MSN, APRN, AGCNS-BC, NPD-BC.

The conference is free to all Bayhealth team members and nursing students. The fee for all other attendees is $40. The registration deadline is Nov. 22.

Anyone who has completed a research, evidence-based practice or quality improvement project in the last year is invited to submit a poster to be presented at the conference. The submission deadline is Oct. 13.
