Hours of Operation
The entrances to the hospital and the Emergency and Trauma Center remain open and are staffed 24/7; ID will be requested at all times in the Emergency and Trauma Center and overnight in the rest of the hospital in order to provide a secure environment for our patients.
The main entrance to the Outpatient Center is staffed and open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday– Friday and from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday
Parking Information
Free parking and free valet services are offered on the Bayhealth Sussex Campus. Valet services are available at the hospital entrance from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and at the Outpatient Center entrance from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday–Friday.
Cafeteria and Vending Machines
The Cafeteria, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating, a community meeting room, and a variety of food and beverages, has the following hours and meal times:
Breakfast: 6:15–10 a.m.
Beverages and Snacks: 10–11 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m.– 1:30 p.m.
Beverages and Snacks: 1:30–4 p.m.
Dinner: 4–6 p.m.
Overnight Service: 2–3:30 a.m.
Vending machines are also located near the Cafeteria as well as in the Emergency and Trauma Center waiting area.
