Bayhealth Welcomes New Endocrinologist to Dover Practice

Bayhealth is excited to welcome Hira Shakeel, MD, the latest specialist to join the Bayhealth Endocrinology, Dover practice. She joins Tadele Desalew, MD, and Wai Wai Lin, MD. Dr. Shakeel is a highly-trained endocrinologist who offers care for diabetes and many other problems of the endocrine system, such as thyroid and adrenal gland disorders. She is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Shakeel comes to Bayhealth from George Washington University in Washington D.C. where she finished a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She holds a medical degree from Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore Medical College in Pakistan, followed by various internships and externships there and in the U.S. She did her internal medicine residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland.
